CAROL HELLER
Carol Heller is the former vocalist of the all-female Southern
California punk band Get The Girl. The
band consisted of Janice Struna (guitar), Caryn Hoffert (bass)
Kristen Bartkowski (drums) and Carol (guitar/vocals).
She currently holds the role of guitar and vocals
alongside Travis Barker and Mark Hoppus in Plus-44. Carol, Mark's
"hometown friend," was recruited by former blink-182
members Mark and Travis soon after blink-182's indefinate hiatus.
You can hear her background vocals in Plus-44's single "No
It Isn't," released on Plus-44's website on December 13th,
2005.
In early 2006 rumors circulated the Internet
that Carol left Plus-44 and was found dead in northern California.
But, soon enough Mark denied these rumors on the band's Myspace
by stating "I heard Carol was dead or quit the band? Well
let me clear this one up for all of you. Carol is very much
alive, she actually is sitting right next to me on this nice
comfy leather couch. So dont get your hopes up!"
