Biography
Travis (full
name: Travis Landon Barker) was born in November 14, 1975. He
grew up in Fontana, California, which is located in San Bernadino
county. He started playing drums when he was four and until he
was eight years old when he switched to piano. He got back on
drums at eighteen.
He wasn't the first drummer of Blink 182: he joined the band in
1998, after the departure of Scott Raynor, just before the production
of "Enema Of The State" (although "Mutt" -track10-
was recorded by Scott before leaving the band). But he and the
guys knew each other a long time before he ended up playing with
them… Travis's first band was called "Feeble" which
he left in order to join the "Aquabats", where his stage
name was "Travis Baron Von Tito" (his "blink 182"
nickname now is "Fuck boy"). He is the most tatooed
and pierced band member…(more than 50 tatoos, all done by
John Sanchez, for a total of more than 7.000$…). He tried
taking up Tatoo drawing because he got bored in high school. He
is a huge collector of muscle cars and old bicycles but his "old
cadillacs" collection is what he's the most proud of. He
runs a website (www.famoussas.com) from which he sells the cloths
his "belt an belt buckle" company produces.
He got married in 2001 for 9 months then got divorced from Mellissa
(which name he tatooed on the neck). His favourite movie is "True
Romance", and his favourite cereal is "Lucky Charms".
He also loves leopard prints, and he has a cowboy hat to prove
it. Travis may look a little weird to you but he is the most shy
person on Earth. He also hates to talk and rarely gives interviews…
He is now married to Shanna Moakler with whom he got engaged at
Disneyland's Haunted Mansion in 2003 and married on Halloween
Eve 2004. Moakler has a 6 year old daughter Atiana with her ex-fiance
Oscar De La Hoya. Whilst already having a 2 year old son, Landon
Asher Barker, the barker family recently celebrated the arrival
of Alabama Louella Barker, who was born shortly after noon Saturday
December 27 2005 at Riverside Calif.
